Happy Holidays Everyone! I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year in 2012. We have had a big week here in Sea Isle City with the new library and the new church opening. Currently, JFK Boulevard is also being revitalized from Landis to Beach. Also, save the date for the 2012 Polar Bear Plunge Weekend: February 17th – 19th.
Currently, there are 273 active listings. We have 27 under contract, and a total of 175 SOLD properties in 2011. Interest rates for a 30 year fixed conventional up to $417,000 are still floating around 4 percent. See below for the current new SOLD properties from my last post.

I want to wish everyone a Happy Mother’s Day! The weather has been beautiful the past couple of weeks and the ocean temp has warmed up to 57 degrees. All of the restaurants and shops are opening up now and owners are busy getting their homes opened up for the 2011 season. The new bandshell is almost completed as well as the new TI beach house on 85th Street. They both look wonderful as well as construction still continuing on the new church and library. We have many new construction condos in the middle of town that are also available for sale that are almost completed! We have had 28 new SOLDS since my last post bringing our grand total of SOLDS for 2011 thus far to 64.

I hope everyone had a great time this past weekend at our annual Polar Bear Plunge! Landis Company quadrupled their weekend rentals from last year and were SOLD OUT a couple of weeks ago. As always, this event seems to get bigger and better each year thanks to all the businesses, employees, and volunteers that help to make this event a huge success.
