Two more properties have gone under contract and one more has sold since my post last Monday.  A total of 4 homes have closed in 2009.

Under contract this week:

  • 7709 Pleasure Avenue – Asking  $1,995,000

SOLD:

  • 26 55th Street East - Asking  $1,179,000  SOLD  $995,000

Homeowner applies for permit to demolish decks so that future bulhead work can be done.  There has been no change in the structural integrity of the homes themselves over the week according to city Administrator, George Savastanto.  Read the whole article from the Press:

82nd Street Disaster

The bulkhead pulled away and several homes on the bay at 82nd Street are in peril.  Here is a video clip shot from the water showing the damage to the homes at the end of 82nd Street:
