2011 Year in Review

There were 200 homes that went under contract in 2011, 186 in 2010.  The average price of everything that sold in Sea Isle City was $637,645, the median was $595,000, and the average days on the market were 197.  To explore further, we had 6 single family homes that sold for an average of 79% of their original asking price.  Also, 138 townhomes sold for 90% of their original price and 48 condos sold for an average of 88% of their original asking price.

We now have revitalization going on JFK to Beach that will widen and beautify the center of town and expected to be done before Polar Bear Plunge, February 17th – 19th.  The new church has opened and is just stunning as well as the new library complete with gorgeous bay views and a very interesting historical museum room which is well worth your time exploring our history in Sea Isle City.  We are very fortunate to be boasting all of these accomplishments in 2011 and look forward to everyone enjoying them this summer as well.  Please contact me immediately if you have not secured your summer rental for this season as we are really experiencing an abundance of early bookings this year!  I look forward to hearing from everyone again and seeing you at the Polar Bear Plunge.   Landis Co will be hosting once again a hospitality suite for your Polar Bear beverages and food in the Sea Shell Condo Building located at JFK and Beach on the Promenade.  Please stop by and say hello!   Also, don’t forget to order your half price Gillian’s amusement tickets at $10 per book of 20 tickets as compared to $20 regular in season price when you book your rental with me or if you are one of our rental property owners.
